Destination of the Day: Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, Toledo, OH
Destination 2 in the series "...see all the people"
Completed in 1931 for $3.25 million (or $47 million in 2011 dollars) this cathedral is everything a cathedral should be-grand, strong, and welcoming. The design was inspired by Toledo's sister city, Toledo, Spain. The sanctuary was restored in 2000. If you cannot make it to Toledo to visit the parish has a simple virtual tour of the interior on its web site, but nothing can compare to visiting it in person.
