Destination of the Day: PNC Park, Pittsburgh, PA

Destination 3 in the series "Opening Day!, Week II"

Opening Day is 7 April against the Colorado Rockies.  This 38,496 seat stadium has one of the best skyline views a fan will find anywhere.  The North Shore location is connected to downtown by a footbridge, making it easy to use public transport and get a little exercise in on the side.  Other attractions in the North Shore area include the Andy Warhol Museum, Carnegie Science Center, Rivers Casino, National Aviary, Mattress Factory Museum (contemporary art), and a handful of breweries.

Just announced: The latest Batman film will be filmed in Pittsburgh.  See http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/11096/1137240-60.stm for more information.
