Destination of the Day: Western Kentucky Botanical Garden, Owensboro, KY

Destination 4 in the series "What do May flowers bring?"

Just a two mile walk from downtown Owensboro is this secret garden that is just the right size for the busy CTer.  Upcoming events include 'firstweekendwonders' (spelled exactly as written), Mothers Day Event (should be interesting), and "My Top Ten Eating Tips and, If You Don't Like Those, Here Are Ten More" (too easy).  If you are planning a day trip to Owensboro, consider adding the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art, International Bluegrass Music Museum, or (do not laugh) the world's largest Sassafras tree to your itinerary.
