Destination of the Day: White River Gardens, Indianapolis, IN

Destination 3 in the series "What do May flowers bring?"

Just a short distance from bustling downtown Indianapolis is the Indianapolis Zoo and the White River Gardens.  While only 3.3 acres the Gardens are packed with landscaping ideas.  The on-site Hilbert Conservatory's current show is 'OMG! Orchids (Odd, Magical and Gorgeous)', running now until the end of October.  One downside is that there does not appear to be a separate admission for those just wanting to tour the complex.

Monday-Thursday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Friday-Sunday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Admission (includes admission to zoo):
Members: Free
Adults: $15.25
Seniors 62+ and Youth 2-12: $10.25
Children One and Under: Free
