Expect some strange looks if you ever mention you are visiting a cemetery on holiday. With maybe the exception of Arlington National Cemetery, few would even consider a visit, let along a few hours, to any cemetery. Graceland though is an exception. The final resting spot for a many important Chicagoans, the main office welcomes well-behaved visitors with open arms. At the main office be sure to pick up a free map and the books that are for sale. For those wanting a tour guide, the Chicago Architecture Foundation occasionally offers tours.
