Few memorials anywhere can match the strength and grace of the Indiana War Memorial. Many incorrectly assume it is closed to the public, especially since the main entrance faces away from downtown. The first floor is an extensive museum on the various wars and conflicts the U.S. has participated and the men and women who have risked their lives. The jewel of the building is located in the tower section. Dominated by a US flag, the tower provides a place for reflection.
