The National Park Service takes full advantage of the four blocks surrounding the Lincoln’s Springfield home. The visitor center, which feels a little dated, includes orientation video (watch it!), museum, store, washrooms, and ticket office. A few of the homes in the park are open and include exhibits on the community, the Lincoln family’s life, and the actual home itself. The home tour, provided by a park ranger, is tight, informative, and enjoyable.
